together, mostly in Midwest Council.

April 22, 2009
Midwest Council's first race of the season and drivers school was held
at Blackhawk Farms on Saturday and Sunday, April 18th and 19th.
Highpoint farms was in attendance with Tim Green (instructor), Tom
Madson and Amy (corner workers), Dan Speers and Nikole Durbin (crew),
and E. Mike Durbin (driver).
The school on Saturday started out nice. Sunny and approaching
73 around lunch time. Then the front came through and a little
rain fell. Sunday it rained all day. Mike drove the #18 Tiga
Sports 2000 successfully in the school on Saturday, and in the Sports
2000 class and the Vintage class on Sunday. Mike won 1st place
for Sports 2000, finishing 12th out of 17, and finished 4th overall in
Vintage.

Trans-Am's second race of the 2009 season was at VIR. DJ, Dale
Madson, and Jimmy Madson joined the crew for the Tony Ave race team.
